Tony, have you considered making a streamer with a bit of golden pheasant
for the tail instead of biots. I find in fishing streamers that no tail or
a very soft tail, golden pheasant or a bit of arctic fox fur works
wonderfully. For the wing the feather is Ok, but more effective in the
water is

Looks like I may have to start from scratch.
I only need to tie two alike for the plates and I have never tied any streamers
of this type in all my years of tying. This is a learning curve for me.

other types I can do real good but not that one.
