Fish are, of course, indispensable to the angler. They give him an
excuse for fishing and justify the fly rod without which he would be a
mere vagrant. But the average fisherman's average catch doesn't even
begin to justify, as fish, its cost in work, time, and money. The true
worth of
Wayne, why keep the bait casting gear? when you can always put garden hackle
or a minnow on a hook using a fly rod and have the best of both worlds!

Nostalgia, I built most of the rods from blanks and all the rest of the gear
has memories associated with it. I've had some of the gear for over thirty
years, I'll probably sell some of the newer stuff that I never got around to
