So, I took the Guadalupe Green Fly and bastardized it into my own bead- head pattern with no hackles. This is the result. Pattern works well in yellow, white, black, chartreuse and olive. Caught 5 bass with it this past weekend, plus a whole bunch of panfish and one Rio Grande Cichlid. (The

Been tying them in Burnt Orange for years. They work on all types of fish including Trout. Works very well on Crooked Creek and on the White River. I tie them mostly with a Fire Orange head and no bead. If I want a heaver fly, I will use a bead or a Cone head. Tony
