I added Load v4l to my Xfree86Config file and installed the v4l
extensions for Xfree864.0 however this doesnt seem to help. On the xawtv
site it says that only mga driver (matrox G200+G400) supports hardware
scaling, does anybody know wether you can
busy.
Is there any other way return it to proper status?
Thanks for your help.

I wanted to install bttv-0.7.55.
I installed it but i cannot load the module:
giach:/lib/modules/2.3.51/misc # modprobe bttv
/lib/modules/2.3.51/misc/bttv.o: unresolved symbol pci_get_drvdata
/lib/modules/2.3.51/misc/bttv.o: unresolved symbol
like black and white...
Could it be that I have to set different video capture?

Hello,
I ´ve got my Win-TV card finally working.
But the colors are very weak. I don´t get it much better by tuning the
color-bar in kwintv. Is there any way to get it better?
The graphik-card is working well (ATI - MACH64).

It seems that bttv 0.7.44/0.7.45 has a few problems regarding stereo
detection on msp34xx. This is what I get when I tune into a channel
that is transmitting in NICAM stereo:
,
| msp34xx: setvolume: 0:0 0x00 0x00
| tuner: tv freq set to 479.25
| msp3410: setting mode: autodetect start
I've set up XFree86 4.0.1 to load the v4l module and I've compiled
xawtv against X4 libraries so that xawtv will use the Xv extensions to
perform YUV transformation on the graphics card, and stretching when
in fullscreen mode. The former seems to work fine, as xawtv is
clearly running in Xv mode
