[videoblogging] Blip Not Recording Hits From Feeds

2008-08-30 Thread duckpondpotter
I just recently noticed that Blip stopped recording hits I get from embedded videos on Myspace. I posted this question to the staff at Blip and am still waiting for a response. I'm wondering if anybody else has been having this problem or can offer a reason for why this is happening. We are

[videoblogging] To get on iTunes - do I go blip pro or buy qt coding software?

Hi All, My vblog is only a sort of 'personal vblog' taking about SF, AV, gadget other stuff so I'm not going to spend a fortune to 'get it out there' So I don't know whether to choose to go blip.tv pro and get them to transcode my mp4 videos into QT so I can sign up my rss feed to iTunes - cost

Dave, never be afraid to add a link to your videoblog on your messages so we can watch it, especially when asking for help :) What PC editing program are you using? Many PC apps now have an iPod export setting. That's all the Blip .m4v conversion is. As much as I think it's worth

Blip has had problems with Myspace crossposts. Myspace sound like a real pain in the arse. They keep changing things to screw up other video providers so that people will use Myspace video instead. Blip keep waking up and finding their Myspace embeds don't work, and then they have to

If you record widescreen, iPod H264 Conversion will convert it down to 640x360. If you're not doing something very visual, going up to 720x480 might not be worth the extra file size and upload/download times. Although if you just uploaded the iPod version instead of the AVI, I guess your

720x480 is not widescreen. It's a higher resolution 4x3, except with non-square pixels. Also, on the NV3, if you record using 720x480, it only goes 20 frames per second, as opposed to 30. Try it out to see if you like giving up the frame rate for the higher resolution. I haven't seen much

Actually, thinking about it, 720x480 wouldn't scale down to 640x360, it'd 640x425 or something... not real widescreen, so perhaps even more reason just to stick with what you're already using. On 30-Aug-08, at 1:05 PM, Rupert wrote: If you record widescreen, iPod H264 Conversion will convert

Hi everyone: First offWe are NOT lawyers. As such, you are really asking the wrong people here. Therefore, you're not likely to get the desired answer (IF we can even help at all). Personally, I think you would be best posing this question on forums where lawyers tend to hang out for
