Newbie here. Was thinking of buying Roxio but is it good for editing flv files? Or is something better? Was going to try to edit in MovieMaker, but they have to be converted first I guess. This video stuff is so exciting, but a REAL learining curve! Used to do this kinda video recording

I never thought it would happen, but it seems Microsoft is actually updating Movie Maker, the free video editor that comes with their OS. Currently, Movie Maker is one shitty program and woe to anyone who tries editing with it.

Aw man. You know what? I'm going to have to disagree with you guys. The same way that Josh Leo can take a $2 camera and take awesome, thought-provoking photos, a video editor can take a not-top-of-the-line video editor and make a really kick-butt video. ...and not to argue, but crappy movies
