There is a bug in QT that I have found when playing .avi, especially in a browser, that often causes the video to come up with all white frames. To get around this, while the video is loading or after the video has loaded, refresh the page/video and the second time, it should play

depends on the type of AVI. I can usually play AVI with Quicktime on Mac. Depends on the codec... you might need to install DivX and/or Xvid as those are popular codecs used in AVI. You may also want to try using FFMpegX on the Mac: http://homepage.mac.com/major4/ -josh On 9/21/05, Loiez D.
