This is easier:Use the rectangle marque tool to make a selection. Then go to SELECT > MODIFY > SMOOTH and set the corner radius value in pixels. This will give you a rounded rectangle selection. Go to SELECT > INVERSE to select the part that you don't want. Fill that with the background color. T
