Hi Ted, I hope the police at the Berkely waterfront are used to people holding cameras! The neanderthals over here are not ?. Where I jog is not actually a lake. I live on a group of islands on the east side of Amsterdam which are surrounded by water, (I'm on the vlogmap if your really interested) If you google "steadycam or steady cam " you will find many versions of rigs - from simple (build yourself) for $14 to the prof versions for $1500 all based on the same principle - the use of the camera's inertia to delay any jerkey movements. Mastering the use of any rig requirs practice and is in my opinion too much like filming. I tend to keep it simple. I will watch out for your JogVlog. Keep me posted on your rig experiences. It may be interesting to use it in another contexts. Ron
