I don't think it's all that hard - cool idea! Look at the source code - they
embedded the video (yes, embedded the embed) in a marquee tag, which is an
html tag that, well, moves stuff.
How fun!

Do you mean turning the camera 360 degrees on a tripod and then
placing the video into an html marquee:
The creator's name is John Michael Boling http://johnmichaelboling.com/
He's an artist that creates all sorts of clever web visual/cultural things.

Some people just have the free time part, yet get considered as artists by

Some people get considered celebrities because they go to parties and

If somebody does something that I consider art and you consider not
clever enough to be art, or just the product of someone with too much
free time, what does it matter? Is anybody losing out?
Someone's an artist if they call themselves an artist.
It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It's a human right to choose
one's own identity.

I play an artist on TV!
Actually, I play an out of work cop who is in the middle of a divorce with 2
kids who dont understand me... BUT! This all changes when I get a job at a
local art gallery where I solve crimes in the small town I just moved to
after the wife kicks me out of the house.
And my
can also be done using a tween track in (I imagine) Flash and
definitely in QT
