We were shocked when we found out that the Athlon 64, FX, dual core

content for you. It's simply too complicated for the poor CPU to play

back.
HmmI know I need a new motherboard to be able to have a faster CPU,
but I *didn't* know it's so old that it can't perform a simple task like
telling me it can't play H.264 - because IT CAN play H.264 (at least at
320 x 240).
On top of that, Quicktime 7 doesn't have a problem either.
My CPU? Not much. Just an AMD Duron 1 Ghz. with 512MB of RAM
and 32MB of VRAM **AND** a GeForce 4 64MB DDR 3D Graphics card.
Yeah...They SHOULD be shocked. :/
Cheers for now :)

Oh man I would love to see those screencasts Raymond. I've thought

it was that I was buying! :-P

Forgive me my ignorance, I'm a windows user who wanted to produce QT
movies ... and apple.com says QT Pro will do it ... so I've
 considered it.

I'm eager for a clue as well. Can I edit my movies in MovieMaker and
then use QT Pro to generate QT files from them? I think QT looks much
better than WM. Will I get decent quality this way, or will I simply
 end
up with QT movies that look like WM movies?

I'm ga-ga for split-screen, so I am envisioning masked vertical strips of each voice, moving

Well, if I'm going, you'd best go, Mr. Mills, esp. if Max Alex are
going.

Meanwhile, I have a decidedly absurd, disgusting request for your next

Also, its my birthday on the 16th, so I will be celebrating as well.

Re: [videoblogging] Community Intro Project

2005-07-29 Thread Michael Sullivan

would it be good to have a separate vlog/site to post the clips to?

i'd think so... here is my proposition.
i've been looking for beta testers for videobloggers.org... only
received a few responses so far (btw thanks devlon, for helping)
this could help me during the beta testing phase... get some usability going. fix things, make improvements.
and i think it would be a good use of the systems media management features.
so, i created a system account... interested folks can share it.
i call it 'vloggers_Unite' and we can create media albums for different collaborative projects.though
i have not enabled the blog publishing service yet, i thought it might
be convenient to make use of the free hosting and media albums, which
can help organize media for different projects... and even generate
feeds/playlists.

email me if you want to play... i'll provide login info for this account.

here's an empty album I created for the Community Intro idea:
