[videoblogging] Wordpress not fixing rel=tag issue
Wordpress folks are apparently not going to fix the rel=tag issue. I'm too busy today to go into how frustrated I am about this, but this sucks. They referenced some question posted in in a wiki faq asking about how to alias alternatives (people who aren't adhering to the specification) and claim this is proof that the specification doesn't state definitively what should be done (even though it clearly does in the specification itself). http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/5964#comment:13 -- http://www.DavidMeade.com

Hi mike! thats great.. but what really makes a difference in itunes is a written review... it takes a little more time, but makes a huge difference. best! Hey Jim...im checking out http://ihatetodance.com/. If you're uploading to blip...you can just grab their embed code for your blog. this will probably make the look you want. For a producers screencast we're putting together in the next 48 hours for Bid4Vid.com, we need a 4-second clip of: - a videographer recording footage, or setting up a video recorder, in an office setting or - 3 to 4 second shot of a film crew (trailing behind or from the front) and - a short clip of a sound engineer or lighting specialist (just someone at sound controls or setting up lights). Thanks, Jay. I don't think wordpress.com allows you to embed code, they just give one option, which was this for my last video, [blip.tv ?posts_id=741364dest=-1], which you paste in under visual and not code. I guess that was part of my question: I pasted in the line above and I got a result that I do not like the look of--are there any other options? After you click on the thumbnail, the player that emerges to play the vid looks fine. The video I posted prior to the current video used the freevlog method with the QT player and that worked okay. I just want to look at all my options. Cropping the image to resize the thumbnail worked, thanks.
