Re: [videoblogging] make a playlist

2006-12-04 Thread mary hodder
Thanks Jay.

Actually Jess (who I think might have come from the videoblogging list)
won the contest for yesterday for music videos,
and today's theme for playlists is Childhood Favorites.
It's on the blog here: dabble.com/blog.

She's actually going to beat the pants off anyone else playing, at this
rate,
because on her second day, she's already got a Childhood Favorites
playlist here:

http://dabble.com/node/4992006

And you can win mulitple daylies until the finals, when all the day
winners
do a bake off to win $500 or a video ipod.

We will do a *videoblogging theme* tomorrow. So if you're interested,
come playlist your favs.

Or, favorite someone elses.

Thanks,
mary

Dabble.com, the video search and social community, is running a
playlist challenge contest. Basically, they have a daily challenge to
make a theme playlist, and then the users can
  vote with their favorites.

  Details are
 http://dabble.com/blog/2006/12/01/take-the-dabble-challenge/
  and
 http://dabble.com/blog/2006/12/01/december-1-2006-dabble- challenge/

There is a challenge each day where winners each get a tshirt and
 entry
into the finals. On Dec 31, the finals made by the winners from the
rest of the month will compete for $500 (grand prize) and a video iPod
  (runner up).
Go make your playlist or favorite the best ones!

Re: [videoblogging] Might be going to Vloggercon...(I hope)

2006-04-22 Thread mary hodder

I'm happy to put people up in Berkeley (across the bay but next to a
BART station, plus
I'll be driving over each day).. email me off list..

I have room for 2 people to share a room if you are together (a bit
more comfortable), plus another room for one. Also, if people wanted
to stay but not share, we could do one in each room.

Either way, I'm happy to help people from far away defray the costs.
