I bought this NEW last June 4, 2005. It was one of the last to be manufactured at this speed in April of 2005. So it is Rev B and final Rev of this model. It is the world's FIRST liquid cooled mass marketed computer. This speed and model dual 2.5 GHz G5 Mac was the top of the line 2004-2005 and only survived ONE product cycle. The next product cycle went to dual 2.7, dual 2.3 and dual 2. Then they went to dual core last October. So I've had it for 8 months since it was new and it has never moved from its original place. It's in perfect running order without a scratch.
It has 4.5 GB RAM and comes with TWO 160 GB SATA drives, all new unused keyboard, mouse and cables. The current dual core 2.3 GHz Mac sells for $2500 with only 512 MB of RAM and a single 250 GB HD. So this one is faster and has more RAM and 320 GB of hard drive space. Tiger 10.4.4 and iLife '06. ATI Radeon 9600 XT with 128 MB of Video RAM. Has one ADC connector and one DVI connector on it. ADC to DVI adapter is only $30 from Dr. Bott. Comes with a DVI to VGA adaptor. Can support two 1920 x 1200 Apple 23" or Dell 24" Samsung digital displays very easily. I also upgraded the firmware on the DVDR drive in it so it does record Dual Layer DVDs. It's a Pioneer DVR-108 with firmware revision 1.20 and is fully supported to burn from the finder although I use Toast 7 Titanium for all my burns. I recently burned a copy of iLife '06 with it, which is a dual layer original, and it copied the original perfectly. This would be plus you pay shipping. I think it weighs about 60 pounds in the original box. Make me an offer I can't refuse off list. -- Taylor Barcroft New Media Publisher, Editor, Video Journalist, Podcaster, Futurecaster Santa Cruz CA, Beach of the Silicon Valley URL http://FutureMedia.org RSS http://feeds.feedburner.com/FutureMedia iTunes http://tinyurl.com/8ql87 barcroft (gizmo) kungax (Skype) kungag5 (iChat-AIM) Yahoo!
