I think I wished I had a phone that could do it, instead of the cheapo phone that I own!

Yes, I think it might be something to do with the file
type. I tried mefeedia for the thumbnails, which is
a new service that is supposed to created thumbnail

sadly I have had no luck with it.

That's probably because your CMS doesn't let you enter _javascript_.
Email me and we can talk about making it work :) petervandijck at gmail.

Why not just use one of the existing moblog services
out there that supports mobile video and not reinvent
the wheel?

Some people on this list have used
Text America http://www.textamerica.com

What I want to create is a movlog. In both Mambo and

I am willing to pay or share skills with anyone who
can help me work out how to do this. The reason I
want it to work via email is that I want to use it
with kids in schools and they can all send emails and
 mobile phone messages!

I want to have control over the system! I work in
education have a duty of care protect children from
unsuitable content including adverts and links to
content that is not for their age. if a blog is an
accepted site on their system they can post and log on
safely.
Children can safely post to one email address and
login onto oen web but otherwise it is no go I.

Also I really enjoy installing things and trying to
push accessabilty down as far as a possible.

One answer to this question is usually because it's *my* wheel!

Other answers might be that people want control over their applications,
code, content, media, etc, etc, etc...

Don't poo-poo the wheel re-inventors!

DIY dammit!
