Just set up blogger so people have to retype in those weird-looking letters when they post a comment, and you'll prevent comment spam. Or with Wordpress -- install the latest version (2.1). Comment spam is a huge problem, but easily handled. Definitely not a reason for all of us to get rid of comments! That would be sad :-(

Some folks would go as far as to say that comments are part of what
distinguishes a videoblog from just a podcast. :)

comments allow for conversation

welcome!

Hi,

Welcome to vlogging. Seems like there is someone new here every day.

I visited you vlog, but it said that I had to be logged in to leave a
comment. So, I figured I would just post here.

Well done vlog for a first timer, that's for sure!

Ha ha, he he. That is so true. I get totally excited when someone
takes the time to leave a comment on my vlog. It makes me feel like
I've made a connection and been heard.

There should be a way to deinterlace your footage in PE. But I don't
know for sure because I've not used this program, but it's a common
filter in most editing programs. Also 3vix and h264 compression
seems to so some deinterlacing as well.

Oh...and I had a question for all you video geeks. I made the
QuickTime
file using Adobe Premiere Elements default LAN Downloadable
settings.
There seems to be a lot of REALLY bad interlacing going on in the
final
result. How the heck do I make that stop?
