Anyone know if this set of LPs (Murray Hill Records, c1961) has been
released on CD? I see entries for it in WorldCat and on Amazon in vinyl,
but none in CD.

I use Honetech audio device. I have a 3 speed turntable 33, 45, 78. I put
the jack into the mic line receptical on the side of my laptop and record
the records, then I save it to a file, and either transfer to MP3 player
or burn to a cd. It works well.

Overall, I think the responses will fall into academic and public
library categories.
Academics tend to pay more, therefore security cases will be more in
evidence,
and consistency in long term shelving will be evident.

Around here, we replace all the factory cases with security cases, so
I've been taking ours to our local Whole Foods for recycling under the
"Gimme Five" program:
