Hi, all. We've had a patron request to get the magazine The Hollywood
Reporter. Is this a general interest title, or is it more specific for
the industry. Not many libraries in Illinois have it, and only one is a
public library. The website appears to be a higher class than
Entertainment
It is a trade paper along the lines of VARIETY. Definitely industry only.

There's a decent history of Hollywood Reporter in Anthony Slide's
_International Film, Radio, and Television Journals_ (1985), but that doesn't
address the current focus of the magazine. For years, this was a daily trade
magazine and something of a serials cataloging nightmare because
An absolute must if you are at an institution where the financial
aspects of film is a key cornerstone of interests
and that it certainly is here at USC!
