If you haven't seen the new J.Edgar movie, there's an extensive scene in the Library of Congress, with J.Edgar (DiCaprio) proudly claiming ownership of the invention of the LC system of classification, and demonstrating how the card catalogue works, in all of its efficiency! Susan On
