SPANISH FILM CLUB: LAST CHANCE TO APPLY FOR GRANT

 

A new initiative by Pragda, Spanish Film Club offers grants to help
universities and educational institutions bring the very best in
contemporary Spanish and Latin American cinema to their premises hoping to
introduce audiences to the language and cultures of these territories.
Organization can select a minimum of five films from a catalogue of 18 new
titles to create a film festival. Representing 10 countries, the films have
been carefully selected by a team of experts and are backed by the most
important festivals and film critics. Institutions can also set up virtual
Q&A with the filmmakers and take advantage of the website's wall to post
comments and exchange ideas with students, professors, and filmmakers. Apply

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues 
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition,bibliographic control, 
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and 
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective 
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication 
between libraries,educational institutions, and video producers and 
distributors.
