Faculty for 1 week (7 days) with a 20 item limit. Faculty can also book

Students and staff for 3 days, 5 items.

7 days, no renewals. Extensions upon request, but would have to have very good
reason for us to allow more than an extra week.
(Loan used to be 3 days, but we looked at data and more than 50% were renewed
or extended, so was easier to just make it a 7-day loan standard.)

At American U, we have a three-day loan for faculty and students -
though will extend to seven-days if needed. There's no set limit but
once it hits six a supervisor usually steps in with a standard
disclaimer about the high cost of replacement should something really
bad happen.

Hello Lisa,
We allow faculty to check out an unlimited number of items. Loan period
is 7 days with the opportunity for one renewal for an additional 7
days. If they make arrangements ahead of time and need materials for
longer (such as study abroad), we make exceptions on a case-by-case
We allow a limit of 10 items, which are checked out for 8 weeks or the
semester. We do however encourage a two week limit, or use on the reserve
shelf to allow other faculty access.

Hi Lisa,
Our Faculty and staff and students can check out 4 titles at a time for
a week. They can renew up to 4 times. The only exception is if it is
on Reserve - then students have 2 hours and have to watch it here in the
Library and faculty and staff can only have it for 3 days to show in
Lisa,
Faculty checked out videos for 1 week, possible extension few more days if
nobody needs the video. They can renew if nobody has asked for it but during
the time he she has it can be recalled and they know that.

Lisa,
At UT the Faculty and Graduate students (because they teach a lot of classes)
can check 3 videos out for 3 days. Staff at the checkout desk can make
exceptions based on the circumstances.
Undergraduates have a 3 hour in building only check out.

Hi Lisa,
Our Faculty
Good morning Lisa,
We allow faculty to check out two videos at a time for 7 days. Sometimes we
make exceptions (like a multi-volume set). We also do lend out films to faculty
who have fines on their record which at times, can lead to very interesting
discussions.
Even though we are part of
At Wake Forest faculty can check out up to 5 DVDs for up to 5 days, with one
renewal (for an additional 5 days). They can also make arrangements for
longer loan lengths to accommodate instruction, (and they frequently do!)

We let faculty check out as many as they can carry. Normal circulation period
is 48 hours, but faculty can extend this up to a week. We can make exceptions
for a bit longer if no one else needs the video.

At Loyola Chicago, there is no limit to the number of films that are checked
out. However, students/faculty/staff only have them for 3 days. Exceptions are
made on a case by case basis.

Good morning everyone,
Our library has what I
Two-day use for faculty and graduate student assistants...period.
(Students can only watch stuff in the collection in the Media Center)
Since almost 100% of the MRC collection use is course-related and since we
have single copies of most everything in the collection, our circ policy
is designed
Lisa,
Everyone at Florida Atlantic University may check out 5 titles for a week. We
do make exceptions for faculty preparing for new courses, multi part series,
etc.

7 day checkout, unlimited # for students, staff and faculty. Our
non-media checkout is by the quarter so that's considered fairly
conservative for us. And of course faculty are encouraged to book in
advance. Circ will often adjust the due dates for faculty if they need
material longer as well.
At USC's Leavey Library all videos (except those placed on reserve)
circulate for three days. *Any*
USC patron (including undergraduates!) can check up to three dvds at any
one time. Generally
renewals are not permitted but exceptions are sometimes made--especially
to faculty members.
At San Francisco State University it's faculty only, one week,
renewable for one week, maximum 7 items - but we are flexible on that.
Some teachers need 20 for a weekend film class they are teaching,
others only come to campus once a week to teach their class, some need
to show over more
Hi Lisa,
Standard: Up to 10 items at a time; 1 week circulation with 1 renewal.
They can also fill out a Special Loan form for my approval if they want
something above that.
However, we do not permit semester loans. If the professor wants to make
sure certain items are available for his or her
