Do you mean the messages concerning the homepage?

I really like the idea of publishing such a short summary when changes
are made -- especially because the commit messages are included too,
and I try to actually write something useful in them.

Without these mails, would you then go check the homepage?

I included the repository feed there to let casual observers know what
we are doing, but as a developer I would want to know everything that
happens in the project.
