Avila springs forth from the confluence of two great mystics, Saint
Teresa of Avila and Saint John of the Cross. Featuring music from
sixteenth century Spanish sources, bilingual meditations from mystical
writings and newly composed works, Avila illuminates the vibrant time
surrounding these spiritual mystics. Come and enjoy an evening of
music from the Golden Age of Spain!
