hi! does anyone know of any references to vihuelas da mano or renaissance/baroque guitars existing or being played in the Spanish and Portuguese colonies in Asia? i'd be fascinated to know how common they were in Asia between 1500-1650. i know of the Japanese painting of the 1590s depicting the vihuela, so i imagine it must have also existed in the colonies at Goa, Malacca, Manila, Macao etc. most curious, Edward
