Well I have vile running OK on my phone running termux but I can't get
colour syntax highlighting to work.
I feel as if I have copied all the required configuration files across
from my Linux systems where colour highlighting works OK, However, no
colours.
The terminal can display in colours as

I am just discovering termux on my Android phone, it's a remarkably
complete Linux command line system. It runs an apt type package
environment and can do most things one can do on any old Linux system
from the command line.
It has vim but I find that confuses me as soon as I move to 'more
