In this case I don't quite understand what (which key sequences) you want to
and using i instead of c didn't work. Maybe someone has a better
solution.
Just use I instead of i.

If the columns actually align and one wants to make changes on
every line, this is a good suggestion. However, in the example
the OP gave, that 3rd line didn't line up
