So, in your opinion, it's probably rare that line numbers will be broken
across two lines
I don't have the problem with align via F5, but I do have the problem
with some of the other F5 environments.
However, I DON'T have the problem with the key shortcuts. For example,
typing (in insert mode):
EAL
gives me an align environment properly jumped with no trouble.
Have you tried EAL?
