When I hit u immediately after a chage has happened (the change may have needed a bit of computation, e.g. after triggering the CloseTag plugin at the end of a long HTML file to check that there are no stray unpaired tags) I sometimes see (if I do it very fast after the change) "1 seconds ago" which hurts my sense of grammar. Maybe a "plural form" would be better here but I'm not sure how well this meshes with Vim messages' internationalization: e.g. Russian uses the nominative singular of the noun after 1, 21, 31, ... (but not 11), the genitive singular after 2-4, 22-24, 32-34, ... (but not 12-14) (all the foregoing modulo 100) and the genitive plural everywhere else (3 forms rather than the 2 of Germanic and Romance languages). (This is a leftover of the Indo-European "dual number", which Slavic languages kept longer than Germanic and Latin, together with "agreement by proximity" with the last word of the numeral.)
