Icons hidden on Mac Classic?

I have a Mac Classic, that I have always had System 6.0.8 installed on, but unfortunately when I started it back up today after several months of not using it, all the icons and files and folders and everything are hidden, but trash and hard disk. Even the floppies that I put in, the icons are
