Hello, I'm back on the list after a few months!

I would have to add the excellent line of video cards by Radius, the
Thunder IV GX.
Another card also by Radius which excels is the Radius Thunder 24GT
(which is the same as the Thunder IV 1152 GX without the DSP add on).
At least in my testings, the Thunder 24GT fared somewhat better than the
Horizon 24, most notably in scrolling. The Horizon 24 does have more
ram (4MB+4MB G-World on my card) compared to 3MB on the Thunder 24GT.
The Thunder IV 1600GX has 6MB, and I'm still searching for one of
those. My latest NuBus card is the Sonnet Sonnata24 which is really a
VillageTronics MacPicaso 340 (I took off the Sonnet sticker, and the
MacPicasso 340 markings are there, and System Profiler also shows the
MP340 id).
Now this card is really nice! It has dual connectors (Mac standard
video + VGA) and the manual stats you CAN connect 2 monitors to it! It
has PCI additions unlike any NuBus card I own (and I own some) like
DCC. From what I've read, the MP340 is actually a NuBus version of the
PCI MP540. Right now, I have the MP340 in my AWS 9150 (upgraded to a
G3@260MHz), along with a 24XLTV for video capture.
I will soon get down to detailing my experience with NuBus video cards,
specially testing on this PowerMac (OS 9.1). So far, the following
cards have worked on this configuration:

Sonnet Sonnata24 (VillageTronic MacPicasso 340)
Radius Thunder 24GT
RasterOps Horizon24
RasterOps 24XLTV (Video capture rocks! much better than the PDS AV card!)

I just won a Display Card 24AC on eBay, and will test it as soon as I
have it.
