I'm afraid that isn't correct.  The HP Deskwriter/Deskjet 600 doesn't 
need to have both cartridges at once.  The 660 does have space for both 
cartridges at the same time, but I don't know that if it is necessary 
for that model.

The 600 can only take one cartridge at a time.  (Mines work fine since 
summer of '95.)
