Forcing Ethernet usage ?

2004-10-20 Thread MC
Hi folks, I'm currently using a headless Q700 as Ethernet-LocalTalk bridge to print with my PLW NTR from my modern Mac PC. I've got a problem since the Q700's battery is dead. In order to use Localtalk bridge, Appletalk has to bet set on Ethernet. But since the pram is reset each time, this

2001-10-20 Thread MC
Hi, Just wondering if a 16MHz (rated) 68882 FPU can be used @ 50 MHZ... I have a Daystar PowerCache '030 @50MHz, but it lacks 68882. And there's some 68882@16 lying in a drawer. I don't wanna fry the accelerator board, but I won't cry for a 68882. Any idea ? TIA, Martin. -- Vintage Macs
