Won't matter, especially if it's a fast HD, because the HD's own buffer
will take care of any issues that might have arisen from interleaving

1:1 interleave is fine for all Macs except the Plus
and SE. The Plus normally uses 3:1 and the SE 2:1
but that isn't really a factor with newer
