My sighted wife is looking at some new exercise equipment. She's mostly looking
at high end stuff. Does anyone know how accessible the iFit or Echelon apps
are? Am I able to control the rower or cycle through the app? Also, if I'm able
to talk her into a less sophisticated machine, can I
My thoughts are that if you have to purchase or use any other app to make an
app such as Facebook or Twitter accessible, then the app being made accessible
is not worth my time. Have you perused the App Store updates to get a feel for
how often apps get updated? I’m not convinced that any third
You may want to ask a sighted person to look because a PDF can of course be an
image in which case a sighted person would see it just fine, but it would
probably show nothing apart from the buttons you mentioned with Voiceover.
You could also send it to something like Voice Dream Scanner or
I use Spring for Twitter on both my Mac and my iPhone. I prefer my Mac but find
it worthwhile on both devices. I don’t think $9.99 is unreasonable. Especially
considering it is not a subscription. And it gives you push on the Mac. And it
syncs very well with all three of your devices if you
Hello,\
This app has replaced twitterrific for me for now. I did purchase the $10
version and I use it on my mac, iPad and iPhone. I do mainly use it on my iPad
because I like the layout of the app in landscape mode. It has three columns.
The developer is very responsive to accessibility
I love this app. I was just in it.

In his most recent podcast Jonathan Mosen rated very highly! The developer does
seem very responsive to Accessibility. And it does have some more nifty
customisation than Twitterrific but really you would have to be a real devotee
I think to make it worthwhile. Harry

This is the one you want if you have just an iPhone. Spring for twitter

spend that much money on a Twitter app, is if I had more than one Apple device
to use it with.
