Thanks. It wasn't easy. I googled the problem and the fix I found was for
sighted users. So, I realised that I needed to get my focus in the right area,
then use the shortcut to turn voice over off and on again.

You might want to make sure require attention is toggled off. You can find this
in Settings -> Face ID and Passcode. If you already have this toggled off then
experiment with different distances from your face. I was holding the phone too
close to my face and once I got the distance down, it's

Okay. I got the app I wanted at the moment, one sir my new smart microwave.
I’ll be using Alexa to control my new Toshiba microwave. It requires their app
as well.
Face ID was not recognized but I was able to use my Apple ID password.

Do I need to set something up, say in my Apple account that says I should use
the side button where the Touch ID would have applied before. Do you mean just
push the side button twice?

Hi Bill,
Did you set up face ID on your new 15 Pro? If yes, all you should need to do
when getting that prompt is to press the right side power button twice.

Hello.
I have gone from an 8 Plus to a 15 Pro. I am asked in places like the App Store
to confirm with the side button and then in that case double click to install.
I seem unable to do this.
Am I not doing that command correctly or is there something I need to set up.

I didn't do anything, the vibration was just something I felt when I
held down the side button to activate Siri. I also just usually say
the word Siri if I need her to make a call, or ask her a question.

The benefit Sieghard of locking phones is the great deals companies
offer to attract new business. They can offer hundreds of dollars off
the cost of a new iPhone. Often these deals require someone to sign

There is not as far as I know. I just wait a second or to after I

In previous IOS versions I heard a sound when I held the side button, so
I knew siri was listening. In 17.03 the sound is gone so when I speak
to soon or too late siri does not understand. Is there a setting to get
the sound back on?

You are looking at the settings panel for the control center, you need the
actual control center.
If it’s a newer device without a home button, you can pull down from the top of
the screen, two clicks, instead of three like you do for notifications.
