Hi all, I got this from the Apple support person that I have been talking to.
Remove both the enhanced voice and the Alex voice. Then you will have your
original voiceover voice back the tones do not stick with this voice. The
enhanced quality voices Alex and the enhanced quality voice are new
That is not entirely true I use the default voice and I occasionally have
problems with the tones sticking just hit the same number that is sticking and
it will stop

Okay, thank you. This is not going to be a one line message. When I got the
information I sent it to you all, but then I tested it and also found that I
had a problem with the tone sticking. I didn't know to hit the town twice so
the first time it stuck I closed out my phone from the app
I don't know how to know if I am using the compact voice or not. I deleted the
enhance quality voice and the Alex voice out of voice over. How would I know if
I am using the compact voice please and thanks. God bless, Wren Langley

Sharonda here!
I personally was using the compact voice and had trouble from time to
time with the tones sticking. I would just hit the tone again, and it
would stop. Only once have I had to turn off my phone completely and
turn it on again.

Yes, but are you using the default high quality voice or the compact.
Anyhow, I'd rather put up with my tones sticking occasionally than having to
listen to the compact voice all the time.

I find it a little hard to believe that the high-quality voice and Alex are the
reason why the tones are sticking. I think that support person doesn't know
what he's really talking about to be honest with you.

Hi Shawn, I do believe he got it from one of his engineers. The engineer said
that he was looking they were looking into the problem and trying to get it
fixed. This is not meant to argue. Just to put some light on the situation. Of
course you do have a right to your own opinion. And everyone
Are you hitting the tone immediately or does this work if you have pressed
other keys after the one that stuck? My problem is that I don't always know
which key did it unless I am dialing very slowly. But this has motivated me to
put commas and extension numbers in my contacts so they dial that
I'd be curious to see if keys stuck when Voice Over wasn't running.
