Okay, I figured it out. In case it happens to somebody else, you have to go
into the groups section, into icloud, and tap show contacts. This is stupid,
why should it do such a thing! I definitely was in panic mode when I sent that
first message.

After upgrading from 13.7 to 14.2, my favorites are there, but my contacts are
not. I think I remember reading messages about this, but I can't find it in the
archives. I backed up my phone to icloud just before upgrading, so they are in
