Subject: Apple TV to Stereo
I am wondering if I can connect my Apple TV directly to a stereo,
foregoing a television. My receiver has RCA jacks, and there is a 3.5mm
jack

will work, what type cord do I need?
All thanks!

That's not possible, since the apple tv only has an optical audio port.

Hi.
You can purchase an HDMI to composite box that will convert your Apple TV to
composite, where the audio is RCA. It's not cheap, costing $60, but it
works. Tiger Direct sells such a device here in the U.S.
Hope this is useful.
