Audio books - was G hello. It is my understanding that if you buy audiobooks from Apple or iTunes, even though they are from audible.com, you can only buy them once. After that, you would have to buy them again if you don't have them backed up. It is your responsibility to keep a backup of your purchases. On the other hand, if you buy books from audible.com directly, you can download them anytime you want. This way if you have another audible device or if you lose your phone, you can download them again without having to purchase them. I don't think any of this has to do with Steve Jobs dying. This policy has been in place since before he died. Good luck. reedy Apple?
