Hi,
I am just playing with the auto-correction function, running IOS 711 on my
4s. However, it doesn't offer me alternatives, I do hear misspelt, but what
do I do to find alternatives?
Thanks for any help.
Sandy.

Hi Sandy,
I too am unable to access autocorrects list of alternative spellings. I'm
using the default iOS keyboard on my iPod Touch 5th gen within the Notes
app. If it matters, I'm using the following words to test autocorrect: dgo,
cta, birthday, hav.

Unfortunately, with the new iOS, auto correction turns off any time the phone

It's under settings, gen.. You have to flick pretty far down the list. Keyboard
is the next one after date and time. Double tap keyboard and you should find it
in there.

Regarding this topic, is there a way to make the alternative characters take
longer to activate. I do not mind the auto correction feature, but the
alternate characters would be nice if they took longer some times to come
up.

Has anyone had problems with the auto correction on their iPhones? My auto
correction now and again stops working and I have to go into settings,
keyboard and turn it on. Is there any way of stopping it from turning off?

Okay, but the opposite question is, is there a way to accept the auto-fill if
it's what you want? and does it insert a space after the word when it goes
in? and when I tap, Dismiss pop-up, the whole text field goes way. Forgive;
Im new to this.
