Blindfold shuffle board, i fail to see the logic

Hi there. Anyone here addicted to Blindfold Shuffleboard? If so i havee a question for you: When flicking, the game states that the faster you flick the harder you shuv the disk but i can drag my finger slowly along the screen and the game says my flick lasted 0.3 seconds and then i drag fast
