Hi
I am using Boxcar for Twitter notifications. I have it set to notify me of DMs,
but it is not doing so. The Mentions are working fine. Anyone else experiencing
this problem?
Kind Regards

Exactly why I quit using Boxcar, it would give notifications at times then go
for weeks without giving notifications at all. , when it did start again, I'd
get thousands of them until it beltched them all out of its system.

Hi list,
I would like to know how Boxcar works and I would like to hear your
opinions about this app.
I have read somewhere that it drains a lot of battery.

If you've got the oficial Twitter app installed and configured with your
Twitter account, it'll automatically notify you of menciones, dm, if someone
favorites your twits among others.

Hi, was a bit hesitant too because the $5 price tag is a bit steep.
However I've been so much happier with Push 4.0 that in the end it's
been worth it for me. The interesting thing is I have boxcar set for
notifications for forusquare stuff and it's always worked fine for that.
Go figure

Hi, I don't think Boxcar drains the battery more than any other push
type of app. It basically sends out push notifications for things like
Twitter mentions, direct messages, Facebook messages, updates,
foursquare checkins, ETC. Anything you want to be notified about from
popular services
Hello!
basically you create a boxcar account. Then you can enter additional accounts
(twitter, email, facebook etc), to get notifications for them.
I ddin't notice any battery issues with it. I quit using it just because I
switched to twitter app what supported notifications itself
