Hi folks, I have just got the Digit-Eyes barcode scanning app and learning how to be consistent in getting a response. One of my spices was not recognized and asked to put in an audio label. I have VizWiz app installed on the phone and decided to send it to them to get a description of the spice. This very reliable app told me what it was and now I will rescan the spice and add the audible description. I thought I would share, so others would have a solution in finding out what the item is before creating an audible label in Digit-Eyes. The combination of using both apps is fantastic when there is no sighted assistance available. I hope this helps others when trying to remain independent.
