Hello,
With MBraille, I have changed my settings to the away layout mode and have
changed or toggled on switch dots 1-4 and 3-6. This way when the phone's screen
is facing away from you, your ring fingers are touching dots 1-4, the middle
fingers touching dots 2-5, and the index fingers
This is a great example of why options are a very good thing. I use the away
layout, but I leave dots 1 3 and 4 6 in the default position so my index
fingers are on 1 and 3, which is the same fingers used on all braille
keyboards. I found the learning curve rather short this way.
To each
MBraille is pretty much my go to keyboardd. I like away mode with the dots in
the regular mode reflective of a braille keyboard.
