Well, I broke down and purchased my new App
Hi Terri.
Daniel is almost right with his directions, except for activating VoiceOver.
The button to press three times quickly is the top left button on the remote.
If you have an extra $20 to spend, I'd highly recommend Jonathan Mosen's book.

Oops, my apologies, the 3rd generation Apple TV was the one you had to press on
the Play button.
