Since I like editing videos to combine in iMovie and put on YouTube, I was 
definitely concerned when I heard you couldn’t edit in the traditional way. I 
wrote Apple accessibility, who sent me the following:

Hello,

Thank you for your email. To edit a video in the Photos app, first select the 
video you want to edit, then tap “Edit". Navigate to the “Media Scrubber” and 
swipe to the right until you hear “Start”. Swipe up to adjust the start of the 
video to trim the start of the video. Then swipe to the left until you hear 
“End”, and then swipe down to shorten the video. Select “Done” when finished.

In time I will have to see how this works. Might be good for others to continue 
writing about this, as The other method was straightforward and fine-tunable.
