I wasn't exactly sure of how Terri wanted to use the info derived, but I'm
glad that the app works for her.

regarding a heart rate monitor. I was able to use the 1 that Andy
suggested. That might not be a permanent answer. But it worked for what
I needed.

Do you want to just check your heart rate, or to monitor it over time, like

Hello everyone,
I don't know exactly how to ask this. So I am just going to do my best.
Are there Apps out that can monitor your heart rate, when using an iPhone?
If so, how does this work?
Also, what Apps are most accessible with Voiceover?
Thank you,
Terri

I would suggest the Polar H7 sensor... the app that comes with the
product is barely accessible but you can use other appes if you need
more features. For me, the native app is enough for my needs.

I know of one called the Helo, it uses your finger against a sensor on
the monitor itself for the pulse and will read heart rate, blood
pressure and breath rate. The 3 buttons that do the readings are not
labeled but all the results are.
Let me know off list if you want more information.

Sieghard,
I was in your dilemma about 4 weeks ago and found pretty good luck with the
following setup. Polar H7 using the Runkeeper app. The Runkeeper app has
cold when you put the strap on. LOL
Hope this helps and contact me with any further questions.

use it with.
I am considering the Polar H7 or Wahoo Tickr or Wahoo Tickr Run. Both have

Hi Andy,
Yes, Runtastic is accessible with a few limitations:
When you first open the app there is a few instructions and it says "Page 1
