How do you have the facebook app show your location in posts and how do you change that location?

Hi, I am asking this on behalf of a friend. She wants to have facebook display her location when sh posts using her iPhone. How is this done in the native facebook app? Also, she was told that you can change your location to somewhere else? Is this correct and if so, how is this done? F
