The difference between share folder and share folder link is this: If
you share a folder, that folder becomes part of the other person's
Dropbox folders. If you share a link, the person with whom that link
was shared gets an email message with a link in it which takes them
to Dropbox and lets them

I decided to get drop box so I downloaded it on my computer. Then I got the
app for it and put it on my i-phone 5. I set up the accounts both on the
computer and i-phone. I created a folder and choose to share my folder. I was
told that you can set up folders for my friends and they can
not become a truly shared
folder.
