How did you word the question to Siri?
Ok, Now it seems to be working. This is using the home button with the
speaker. I couldn’t get it working using the middle button yesterday with my
EarPods. Maybe there was too much wind, or I wasn’t talking loud enough for
it to understand me.

I get the correct answer whether I say; what song is currently playing? What
song is playing now? Or, what song is playing?

How did you word the question to Siri? I haven't gotten this to work. Were you
using the home button or a long press of the headphone button to do this?
Thanks in advance.

When I read your question, I turned on music. I then activated Siri and asked
what song was playing. I was answered with the title of the song that was
playing.

Hi Pete. If I’m understanding you correctly, you’d like to know if you can ask
Siri what track is playing right? The answer is yes you can. You can either ask
“What song is playing?”, or “What am I listening to?” With either question,
Siri will tell you what’s playing. HTH.

I know you could do this with voice over used to be, but now that a long press
of the home button uses Siri, I'm not so sure any Siri alternative for this
feature? Thanks in advance.
